The Members Showcase is one of Heartland Art Club’s most popular and well-attended annual events, and our only all-members show of the year — a celebration of the incredible talent within our community. This is your opportunity to share your finest work with fellow members, friends, and art enthusiasts across the St. Louis area. We encourage every member to participate and to submit the piece they are most proud of, whether you are a seasoned exhibitor or showing with us for the first time. The strength of this show depends on the breadth and quality of work our members bring, so let’s make this year’s Members Showcase one of our best yet. Review the guidelines below, submit your entry, and help us create a show that truly reflects the heart of Heartland Art Club.

Important Dates

Call for Art: May 1, 2026, through June 20, 2026, at Midnight
Drop-off dates: June 24, 2026, through July 11, 2026
Opening Reception: July 18, 2026, 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Pick-Up dates: August 19, 2026, to August 22, 2026

Exhibit Details (Please read carefully)

  • All entrants agree to the terms of the Gallery Agreement.
  • One entry per artist member
  • This is a Members Show only. If you are not yet a member, please join here first.
  • There is a $20 fee to enter this exhibit. Payment is made here at the time of submission of your artwork.
  • There is NO COMMISSION to the gallery on sold works! None. Zero. Nada. Zip.
  • There is 3% fee for credit/debit card transactions, which will be deducted from the sale of any artwork.
  • All submitted artwork is ACCEPTED unless you are notified. This is not a juried show. If you submitted your work online and paid the accompanying fee, we expect you to bring it to The Galleries at Heartland Art Club on one of the drop-off dates.
  • All entries must be for sale.
  • All work must be original.
  • Heartland Art Club Awards will be given by our judge, Jo Jasper Dean:
  • 1st Place: $300
  • 2nd Place: $200 sponsored by The Drastal Group
  • 3rd Place: $100 sponsored by The Art Beacon
  • Honorable Mention: Richeson pastel and oil sets
  • The David Cornell Award for Composition: $250
  • The Spencer Meagher Award for Use of Light $250
  • Heartland Art Club reserves the right to disqualify entries that do not conform to the submission guidelines, works that are considered to be offensive by the gallery, or for any other reason.
  • Entries submitted online may not be substituted.
  • Heartland Art Club cannot be responsible for typos in your submission.

Artwork Requirements

  • Two-dimensional or three-dimensional REPRESENTATIONAL works only, including photography
  • Any artistic style or medium
  • Maximum outside dimensions: 48 inches on the longest side (overall size including framing/matting)

Framing Requirements

  • Professional gallery framing. Please clean glass, check corners, and look for other damage to matting, framing, and glass.
  • Gallery wrapped canvases without frames are okay with finished sides and wire hangers. Gallery wrapped canvases less than 1.5″ in depth not accepted.
  • Only wire hangers, no sawtooth hangers
  • Must include printable inventory form on back of painting
  • Artwork may be hung salon style

Delivery Requirements

Artwork may be shipped or hand delivered to Heartland Art Club. If shipping, you must include a pre-printed paid return label. Make sure to include inventory form to be taped to back of artwork.

  • The image must be less than 2400 pixels on the long side
  • 1MB file maximum, please
  • JPEG only
  • Cropped to image-Do not show framing or any background
  • MOST IMPORTANT: Name your image file with your last name and the title of your artwork, ex: stevens-Trees-from-Heaven
