Join us for the Members Showcase 2025, an exciting exhibition celebrating the talents of Heartland Art Club members. This event provides an opportunity for artists to showcase their representational artwork in a professional gallery setting. All members are invited to submit one entry, and there is no commission on sales—100% of sales go directly to the artist. We look forward to seeing your work and sharing it with the community!

Exhibit Details (Please read carefully)

  • One entry per artist member.
  • This is a Member’s Show only. If you are not a current member, please join here.
  • $20 entry fee. Payment is made on our website at the time of submission.
  • No commission on sold works. 100% of sales go directly to the artist.
  • 3% fee for credit/debit card transactions. This will be deducted from the sale of any artwork.
  • All submitted artwork is ACCEPTED unless notified. This is not a juried show.
  • Artwork must be for sale.
  • All work must be original.
  • Heartland Art Club Awards: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place, 2 Honorable Mentions
  • Disqualification: Heartland Art Club reserves the right to disqualify entries that do not conform to the submission guidelines, are incomplete, considered offensive, or for any other reason.
  • Online entries may not be substituted.
  • Heartland Art Club is not responsible for typos in your submission.
  • Confirmation: You will not receive an email confirmation. Confirmation will be displayed on the screen after submitting your artwork.

Artwork Requirements

  • Two dimensional or 3 dimensional REPRESENTATIONAL works only, including photography
  • Any artistic style or medium
  • Maximum outside dimensions: 48 inches on the longest side (overall size including framing/matting)

File upload requirements:

  • We recommend roughly 2400 pixels on the long side
  • 5MB file maximum
  • JPEG only
  • Cropped to image — Do not show framing or any background
  • MOST IMPORTANT: Name your file the same as the title of your piece and your last name

Framing Requirements

  • Professional gallery framing.
  • Clean glass, check corners and look for other damage to matting, framing, and glass.
  • Gallery-wrapped canvases without frames are okay with finished sides and wire hangers. Gallery-wrapped canvases less than 1.5″ in
    depth will not be accepted.
  • Only wire hangers, no sawtooth hangers
  • Must include printable inventory form on the back of the painting
  • Artwork may be hung salon-style

Shipping Information

Below are things you need to know so we can safely receive your artwork. Please review this
information thoroughly.

Packing and Shipping:

  • Please print and fill out the Inventory Form (see the last page of this document) and attach it to the back of your 2D artwork or to the bottom of 3D artwork.
  • Examine your artwork and framing for damage.
  • Make sure your hangers are D-ring wire hangers.
  • Please carefully pack your artwork and consider shipping insurance. You may also want to consider other forms of insurance as Heartland Art Club cannot insure the declared value of a piece.
  • Use AirFloat box or similar unless shipping sculpture.
  • No peanuts whatsoever.
  • No bubble wrap if at all possible.
  • If using bubble wrap, DO NOT TAPE THE BUBBLE WRAP
  • Include return shipping label on the inside top of the box in an envelope clearly marked
    “RETURN SHIPPING LABEL.”
  • Be sure you have paid the exhibit handling fee before shipping.
  • Ship via UPS or FedEx if possible.
  • Artwork must be received in person or by The UPS Store (receiver) by August 5, 2023 at
    1:00PM CST.

Return of Artwork:
Artwork will be return-shipped from April 16th through the 19th. Please allow for additional transit time.

Hand Delivery/Drop-Off Info

If you choose to hand-deliver your artwork you will NOT be charged a handling fee.
Please print and fill out the Inventory Form below and attach it to the back of your 2D artwork or
to the bottom of 3D artwork.
You may drop of your unpacked and uncrated artwork on these dates and during these times:
Wednesday, March 5 through Saturday March 8, 2025 between 12:30 – 4:45pm

Payment for Sold Artwork

The Gallery agrees to remit payment for a sold work to the artist within 30-45 days of the sale date. On rare occasions and in order to accommodate clients, the Gallery may offer an installment plan for purchase of artwork. In this case, payment to the artist will be made within 30-45 days of the final installment payment.

Sales, Credit Card Fee and Commission

There is NO COMMISSION taken for sold artwork from this show. For sales made by credit or debit cards, an additional 3% processing fee will be deducted from the total sale price.

Display of Artwork

The Gallery reserves the right to determine whether to display a work and where on its premises to display it. The Gallery makes no guarantee that artworks provided to the Gallery will be on display at all times. The Gallery does not guarantee any artwork will be sold.

Other Important Information

By submitting artwork to this show you are agreeing to the terms and conditions of our Gallery Agreement.

Heartland Art Club may use photos of all artwork displayed at the Gallery, and artist information for use on its website, social media, and print materials.

The Gallery provides general liability insurance only for its facility. The Gallery recommends the artist also insure his/her work, including shipping insurance for work shipped to and from the Gallery. The Gallery makes reasonable efforts to secure, safeguard, carefully handle, carefully store, and carefully wrap (when sold) all artworks.
