Heartland Art Club wants to applaud our fabulous sponsor, ArtMart, and also congratulate the owner, Keith Baizer, on his retirement. While ArtMart is in the process of becoming part of Blick Art Materials, we would like to recognize ArtMart for their generosity and dedication to the arts. ArtMart sponsored the 3rd place Membership Exhibition Award in 2022. They have also helped us provide a gift to artists that donate to our fundraiser, Ticket to Pick It, each year.
ArtMart was founded in 1962. When they moved from Manchester Rd. to their present location, they were the first retail store on South Hanley! They carried over 25,000 different items in their store and were the largest independent picture framer in St. Louis. Keith Baizer, the owner, has been the self-proclaimed “Mayor of Creativity”, and he built the company around the premise that ArtMart values and loves artists.
