Heartland Art Club is excited to announce the annual VxVII Art Exhibition. This show invites all artists to create and submit up to five original artworks measuring 5 inches by 7 inches to be displayed in the Galleries at Heartland Art Club. These small yet grand works will perfectly fulfill the gift lists of many holiday art shoppers! Be a part of this sizable event.

All Artists are invited to submit artwork for Heartland Art Club’s VxVII Art Exhibition, held October 30, 2024 through January 18, 2025!

Deadline for Online Submissions: Saturday, October 12 at 11:59 CST

Artwork Drop-off Dates: October 16-19, 2024; Drop off of artwork at Heartland Art Club.

Exhibit Details (Please read carefully)

  • Five entries per artist

  • You are not required to be a member of Heartland Art Club, but if you wish to consider joining ($60 annually for general members) please join here.

  • There is a $5 per individual artwork entry fee. Payment is made on our website at the time of submission of your artwork.

  • Gallery commission is 35% of the total sale for non-member artists.

  • Gallery commission is 25% of the total sale for member artists.

  • There is 3% fee for credit/debit card transactions which will be deducted from the sale of any artwork.

  • All submitted artwork is ACCEPTED unless you are notified. This is not a juried show. If you submitted your work online and paid the accompanying fee we expect you to bring it to Heartland Art Club on one of the drop-off dates.

  • All entries must be for sale.

  • All work must be original.

  • Heartland Art Club reserves the right to disqualify entries that do not conform to the submission guidelines, works that are considered to be offensive by the gallery, or for any other reason.

  • Entries submitted online may not be substituted.

  • Heartland Art Club cannot be responsible for typos in your submission.

  • You will receive confirmation of your submission via email.

Artwork Requirements

  • Entries are open to two-dimensional, three-dimensional, and photography.

  • Any artistic style or medium is acceptable.

  • Artwork image size can only be 5” x 7” or “7 x 5.” Framed work can not exceed 10.5” in height.

Framing Requirements

  • Professional gallery framing. Please clean glass, check corners, and look for other damage to matting, framing, and glass.

  • Gallery wrapped canvases without frames are okay with finished sides and wire hangers. Gallery wrapped canvases less than 1.5″ in depth not accepted.

  • Works must include a printable inventory form on its back.

  • Artwork will be displayed on shelves.

Delivery Requirements

Artwork may be shipped or hand delivered to Heartland Art Club. If shipping, you must include a pre-printed paid return label. Make sure to include inventory form to be taped to back of artwork.
